I have been looking around the website and I see that there is not much about Gears of War. I also see that there are not alot of MLG teams. I am currently looking to join with a gaming community to go to MLG Toronto. Easily I could have joined with MoB, vVv, vZ, etc. but all those teams are dime a dozen. I want to join a community where a it means something to have a team with them. I saw that it says a requirement of 5 people are needed for an MLG team, but that doesn't make sense because an MLG team consists of 4 people unless you have a coach. To tell you about myself my name is Steve Hayes (GT: MainEventt) and I personally have been to both MLG Chicago and MLG Toronto both last year. Chicago I didn't go with my actual team and got top 24 which isn't bad for a thrown together team. MLG Toronto I placed in the top 12 but there wasn't the normal MLG competition there. My team consists of me (MainEventt), Parahh (known him for a long time, won local LANs with him, has been to one MLG), REESSEY (MLG Exp. as well) and the fourth is pending because our fourth may not be able to attend Toronto. But if he were to go his name is WaXeD187 (has been around Gears of War since day 1 and a very well rounded player). If we were to get a team your name would be represented to the fullest whether it is in our GamerTags, team T-Shirts, on GameBattles, in our bio, etc. I will be up front and say that traveling to play MLG is costly and in repping your website/name we would ask for the purchase of a team pass, or something else of that nature that would help us in the experience. We definitely have a great chance at breaking the Semi-Pro ranks at Toronto.
